Monteforte Estates is a project with deep roots into my personal background: the family vineyards that I grew up in, the impact of organic principles and sustainable practices on the land and its inhabitants, the wish to share all of this with a culture that is equally rich and close to me - India.
About Monteforte Estates
Monteforte Estates is a cross-cultural project bringing together Italy and India - two countries with common values and a shared love for conviviality. The overarching vision is to bring high quality wines and “prodotti della terra” from Italy: products from the land, grown in an organic and sustainable way, with deep respect for nature, tradition, and time.
We believe wine is more than a product. It is culture, hospitality and human connection. Monteforte Estates exists to introduce exceptional Italian producers to India through memorable experiences and authentic storytelling.
Bringing something new to the world of wine
The world of wine often feels difficult and complex, and for good reasons: there is an incredible richness of brands and wine varieties in this industry. Often, storytelling gets lost among technical sheets and tasting notes. The goal is to cut through the noise to get to the core of what the winemakers do - their stories, their philosophy, their daily life and the choices they make every day when working the land.
We collaborate with true artisans of the land to bring only the most genuine and thoughtfully produced wines to India. Sustainable, respectful of nature, with a no-additives philosophy, in order to let the soul of the wine really shine.
And finally, we share this with our friends in India, while striving to create memorable experiences and moments of connection around the wine itself. Because without connection, there’s nothing to wine except a good flavour.
